It’s been a big couple of weeks at Mandurah Houseboats with the company winning at not one but two prestigious tourism awards.
We were very proud to have been nominated as finalists in this year’s Peel Business Excellence Awards and more than chuffed to be named winners in the Tourism Excellence category and runners-up in the Medium Business category. The APBNEA awards are very close to our heart as they recognise and celebrate the achievements of businesses exclusively working in the Peel region.
The local award win was swiftly followed by the news that the business has been awarded a Bronze Medal in the West Australia Tourism Awards Unique Accommodation category.
The awards are run by the Tourism Council of WA, the peak body for tourism in the state, and are designed to recognise and reward business excellence, innovation and professionalism, with nominations accepted from any tourism business in WA. In the Unique Accommodation category Mandurah Houseboats was up against competition from businesses in the Bungle Bungles and Ningaloo Reef amongst others so it’s fair to say that we’re playing in the big leagues now!
The business wishes to offer a huge thank you to all our staff, contractors and of course our clients who have all helped to make this possible!
